THE CAFE SESSIONS 2 woman sketch comedy show – live theatre in everyday places.

The 2019 pre tour warm up shows began in FAM’s own backyard near Bright in the tiny sub alpine town of Harrietville followed by Porepunkah.

In late June and early July FAM self funded a tour which saw the performers load a few props and bags into the back of the Toyota Yaris. Over 3 weeks Pauline Thompson and Jenny Packham headed to drought affected areas – Finley,  Warren & Purlewaugh NSW and  all the way to Bundaberg Qld taking laughter and entertainment right into the heart of remote and regional communities. Helping to raise funds for local causes FAM donated a portion of ticket sales to  CWAs, Arts Councils and Headspace.

FAM made meaningful connections and new friends and these audiences have urged them to return soon and to “head further west they really need a laugh too.”

So the 2020 tour is already being planned with at least a dozen communities wanting the Frustrated Artistic Mothers in their backyard. Jenny & Pauline can’t wait!!!!

So excited! Bright’s adopted daughters #gingerandtonic will be bringing their new show “Australian Treasures & Guilty Pleasures” this Mothers Day weekend in May.
